At ReachLink, we prioritize your privacy and provide the ability to delete your account and associated data. Below are the steps to request the deletion of your account, the types of data involved, and our retention policies:
Steps to Request Account Deletion
- Email us at hello@reachlink.com and type in the subject field “Delete Account.” If you have trouble completing these steps, you can contact our support team directly at hello@example.com to assist you with the deletion process.
Types of Data Deleted
- When you delete your account, the following types of data are permanently deleted:
- Personal Information: Your name, email address, and other identifying information.
- User-Generated Content: All data you’ve submitted or created within the app (e.g., comments, photos, preferences).
- Usage Data: Logs, settings, and other app-related data specific to your account.
Data Retained and Retention Periods
In compliance with applicable laws, some types of data may be retained even after you delete your account:
- Legal Requirements: Certain information, such as financial transaction records, tax data, or other legally mandated information, will be retained for the required duration set by law, which may be up to [X years] after account deletion.
- Operational Necessities: Support communications and similar data may also be retained for mandated periods of time to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations.
Full Deletion of All Other Data
All other information that is not legally required to be retained will be permanently deleted from our systems once the account deletion process is complete. After any legally mandated retention periods have expired, all remaining data will also be permanently removed from our records.
